Compucare's Fees
Compucare operates on a 'no fix, no fee' basis, conditions apply - see below. The standard call out fee to one of the areas listed above is;
$70 (inc of first hour)
$45 per subsequent hour to a maximum of 3 hours
Occasionally a repair may take many hours to complete waiting for the computer to finish a particular task. In these situations the engineer will suggest to take the computer back to the repair shop so as to carry out other repairs simultaniously on other customers machines. You will only be charged for the time spent on your machine and not for the time the engineer would otherwise be waiting on it and more often than not these types of repairs carry a standard charge regardless. No Fix, No Fee Conditions - Compucare will not charge for services when a fix would normally be possible but is outside the knowledge/skill of the onsite engineer and no other solution can be provided. Faults that can be corrected by replacement parts and/or software are not covered by the 'no fix, no fee' garauntee. In this situation the engineer may suggest taking the equipment off site to be repaired or schedule a return visit at a later date to the clients premises with the required parts. Time charged at the normal rate.
