Hossein Sinaei is a qualified computer technician who migrated to Australia from Iran in 2014.
In his country of origin, he ran his own computer business, providing technical services to both home users and numerous businesses.
Hossein is one of those unusual people who simply love working ‘behind the screen’ to help others achieve their desired outcomes. Having been involved with computer systems for approximately ten years, he has acquired a unique and comprehensive set of skills and knowledge. These skills allow him to confidently tackle computer glitches and other IT related issues that would send most of us into a state of panic in a the briefest of moments.
On arriving in Australia, Hossein used his comprehensive skill set as a IT Support Person (Volunteer) at The Welcome Centre. The Welcome Centre is resource and support centre for new migrants and a place that supported Hossein in many ways, one of which was to learn the difference between the English he was taught overseas, and the language most South Australians speak.
In the first twelve months, Hossein started his journey in becoming familiar with Australian culture - important things that a young man about town needs to know, like when it’s not okay to wear your thongs, how to make a fritz and sauce sandwich, and that a Crow is not only a big black bird, but also football player.
Armed with a better understanding of the locals, it was a very natural progression for Hossein to move back into the business world and obviously, back into the area he loves and knows best – computers (and more importantly, fixing other people’s computers.) This is all good news for Adelaide dwellers!
The world doesn’t have enough computer geeks who actually speak in a way that the average Joe can understand, but Hossein is one of the precious few who does. He understands common things like your panic when your PC packs up on you or your frustration when the internet won’t let you surf. What’s more, and even less common, is that he won’t hold you to ransom if you just happened to not plug an important cord in correctly.
So, whatever your computer issue is, I’m sure if you call him once, you’ll be confident to call him again.
